Oh you guys ready for what’s on today? Hahaha I don’t know how people do it but to be able to create a track that can speak to your heart without pure vocals and lyrics, but just beats and musical elements creating those lyrics and message that captures listeners attention from start to finish and resonates with them incredible. But well I’ve got this music genius here, to me the king of instrumentals, guitarist and composer Ari Joshua who just dropped his latest track dubbed “Country Stroll.” The track that features jazz icons John Medeski on organ and Billy Martin on drums is an instrumental masterpiece that is here to take you on a whole new level and change your music taste. What’s beautiful about this track is how it’s blends Joshua’s love for twang, jazz fluency, and a playful spirit, making it a must-listen for fans of innovative instrumental music.
The track opens with a fine catchy melodies that creates an imaginative musical atmosphere which prepares the listener and gets them hooked for what’s to come. As the track goes on it brings this nostalgic feel and those drums and beautiful piano elements combines so well that it creates this beautiful sound that will leave you wowed. The track also has this feel like a beautiful soundtrack for a favorite game, like sonic haha..see what makes me fall in love more is when all the other instruments takes a pause and now it’s just the drums, giving it this brass band vibes, oh my days this is lit 🔥 🔥.
Just when those drums ends then all the other elements joins in and takes the whole track to a beautiful ending that everyone that listens will wanna repeat it. If you listen carefully you’d realize how the track brings this elemental country blues too in play with it beautiful chordal movements, sweet Jesus, the soundtrack is just classic and beautiful, you feel every element in there. Now what’s amazing is Joshua’s compositional brilliance and how Medeski amazingly adds those silky organ sounds to this masterpiece coupled with Joshua’s magic with his electric guitar and those drums from Martin, it’s a thing of beauty and one to behold. The track is a must listen and trust me, you won’t find something silky and smooth as this one haha.
Moving on “Country Stroll”, not only bring those vibes and beautiful tones alone, but according to Joshua, “this song is a celebration of the beauty of the natural world and the simple joys of life. I’m honored to have collaborated with John Medeski and Billy Martin on this project. Their musicianship and creativity are truly inspiring.” Reflecting Joshua’s profound passion for pushing boundaries in any genre and with Medeski and Martin, the track moves up levels beyond it’s limits and I must say they really killed it. Bravo guys, this is beautiful and enjoyable, when you wanna relax and enjoy nature in those parks, under the trees, even when you wanna study and when you need those lonely moments for yourself to reflect on the joys of life then this track is an absolute must for you.
The track also pays tribute to the legendary guitarist Bill Frisell, which stands as a significant milestone in Ari Joshua’s musical journey. You may think, wow that’s some beautiful production and mastering in there, well here to break to you that Joshua, Medeski, and Martin did all the magic and then the recording, mastering, and mixing by Chris Bittner, Ed Brooks, and Ari Raskin, respectively. The artwork was done by Paul Delaney and it also adds a beautiful narrative to the track to give it the feel it deserves and overall enhances the listening experience.
